"I LOVE food. I have been blessed to be able to eat anything and not gain weight. I was a comfortable size 10.

Then I started University.

Everything changed for me. I felt like I was a whale compared to the other girls and often felt the pressure of being and staying thin just to fit in. I started to eat less and less. I could sometimes live on just a few wheatabix cereal with a half cup of milk and water for the rest of the day. Sometimes I would binge on unhealthy food and throw it up. I stopped looking in the mirror because I only saw a fat version of me and being a size 6 was not good enough.for me. When I came home during the break to see my family, they were so concerned for me they made me speak to a therapist. I didn't get very far with the therapist because I wasn't convinced I needed the help. Then I read Reham's flyer. That was me she was talking about!

I started working with Reham. Together, Reham and my therapist guided me to a healthy way of looking at food. My therapist addressed my Bulimia and Reham addressed my relationship to food, my insecurity about myself and the importance of both   self-compassion and self-care. I'm so blessed to be working with Reham. She's changed my life."


"I've always been a bit overweight. I had breasts instead of pecs. I love food. That said, I never had a healthy relationship with food. I learned how to use food to mask my emotions. After working with Reham, I finally understood the importance of nourishing my body and soul. I learned that my superpower is the ability to retrain my brain to recognise when I am feeling emotional or when I'm really feeling hungry. Also, I learned that there is very fine line to know when my stomach is actually almost full. That is the line I always aim to not step over. "I have always been fit and had a healthy relationship with food. Then I became a mum and my relationship with food changed. I found myself eating my children's left overs so as not to throw food away. At first, my activity during the day was enough to burn it all off. However, when my youngest started primary school, I was left with some time on my hands for the first time in years. I would finish the work around the house by mid-day and relax for a few hours before I had to prepare dinner. I would sometimes sit in front of the TV and munch on chocolate, crisps or spring rolls. Instead of having 3 square meals, I was having 5. My weight gained as my activity decreased. As my weight increased, my self-confidence decreased. One day, I stood in the mirror and didn't recognise myself. My clothes no longer fit me. I knew then, I had to make changes to my eating habits. I came across Reham's flyer and immediately started working with you. I am proud to say, I've lost 2 stones and am fitting into clothes I had before I was pregnant. I have a new found confidence in myself. I've also taught my girls the value of self-care, self-love and healthy eating.
